I was hoping for a little advice. I noticed several broken feather on my Ameraucana hen. She is a year and half old. Has been very healthy. Great layer good eater, acting herself. The other hens do not pick on her.
It appears to be her flight feather. I was surprised to find her this way. Any help would be appreciated.
I realize you said that your hens aren't picking on her, but are you sure? I see blood and pulled out feathers. Unless your chicken suffered an animal attack, I think someone is pulling her feathers out. Best wishes!
