i really need some help my homemade incubator broke yesterday when i saw one egg was pipped..i just put the whole egg in a cardboard box with light bulb at the top for heat source and placed two bowls of water inside the incubator..i did saw one pushing the egg shell from inside but still its 24hrs since the first pip..what should i do..????all have pip

the temperature is very fluctuating but on average its around 100f..

should i assist them now...i do not have much hope of them hatching on their own..

Can you use hot water bottles around the incubator and towels to keep the temperature up? A heat lamp? Since they're hatching, you don't have to worry about turning, at least!
today is day 17 and i saw a few hours ago one trying to zip around and i even saw its beak

I would not assist. That's likely to do more damage than good. If you can keep the temperature from fluctuating too much, you should still have a successful hatch.
X2

I'd also try with warm water bottles and towels to keep the heat in and they are far enough along they should be ok.
