Broken Neck?

Not to worry, I take a 200 mg selenium tablet and break it into eighths and give him just one piece each time. I have been using the vitamin E gel tablet 400ui and poking a hole and squeezing it in his break. Eating and drinking require full assistance but he seems to be better. I'll keep everyone updated!
That's way too much selenium! Do as @Wyorp Rock suggested.

Does anyone know if I should be trying to give my chicken with drooping neck - grit? I am hand feeding her crushed pellets/couscous/scrambled eggg and a bit of tuna in a very soupy mix every 3-4 hours. She can swallow but can't feed herself! Her crop feels normal and although her poop is a little runny I think that is because of the soup I am feeding her to keep her hydrated!

I would be more concerned about grit with foods that are hard and need to be broken down to digest them. If you are feeding a soupy mix of wet chicken feed and egg, the grit is not necessary. I would not feed the tuna or any whole grains without grit. But it would be dangerous to try feeding grit to a chicken who could not take it on their own—just my opinion.
