Month old duckling recently broke a pin feather, it looked like it had clotted alright but it kept bleeding so i’m not sure what to do. I’ll add pictures, the duck isn’t lethargic and is still energetic, i’m not sure if I should cover it with flour/cornstarch (when I get some) or if I should pluck it and cover it with aerosol bandage (I read the bandage is safe, is it?) The duck is at a barn so we don’t have flour/cornstarch, we have “Vetericyn plus antimicrobial poultry care” and AluShield aerosol bandage. Should I wait till I get cornstarch (about 30-50 minutes) or should I cover it with one of the meds? And is it necessary to pluck it, i’m a little afraid to be honest.

Pluck it. It will hurt a moment and the duck will likely not be happy but it should stop bleeding.
Should I cover it with anything after plucking it? Or will it naturally stop bleeding (and thank you for helping me! means a lot)
