I love using the disinfectants that you buy as well. I use a lot of bleach as well (which I am sure if cheaper) but the commercial farm disinfectants don't have such a strong smell. Since my brooder is more air-tight, I like using these on the brooder itself and the bleach on feeders/waters

I too, let them set for a few minutes, use a brush to scrub and then rinse
