My new brooder for the 25 chicks due to arrive this month or next, or the turkey poults I hatch by April..
One side has a solid bottom the other side has a screen bottom, I can divide the sides, starting the young chicks/poults out on the wood floor with bedding or paper towels, and transitioning them to a larger area once they are old enough.

Here is mine I just nailed some hardware cloth to the front of a vanity cabinet. I still need to remove the barrier on the left side to make it larger.

I really like this. I think this is what I am going to use for my babies..... they arrive April 24-25th. And I just ordered the Ecoglow.

This is a picture of my best brooder, it is called the "Henny-Penny" ! Currently have 8 baby Australorps under it. Before I got the Henny-Penny, I used a big round stock water tank.
