Broodies and hatching

Hi all,

I've got a couple of broodies right now. I've got some eggs in the incubator due to hatch on Thursday. I'd like at least one of the broodies to raise the chicks.

My question is, would I be better placing the eggs under one of my girls at lockdown time, or introducing the chicks once they hatch?

Give the eggs today if you have her separated in a Broody pen. I always do this. I just gave a Broody my incubator eggs.
