Rosie and her bonus babies! We dont have a male turkey and Rosie has been trying to brood for 2 months and we were finally able to get baby turkeys to see if it might help her. The first night I chickened out and wouldnt put them under her but the little guys escaped and when I got out to the coop I couldnt find any of them! Rosie was acting strange and I finally looked under her and there they were all cuddled up. Shes been an amazing bonus momma so far! Many of our members here have had a hen go broody, and springtime usually means broody hens and new chicks. Who doesn’t love seeing a mother hen with her chicks? We would love to see yours! Show us your best pictures of your Broody Hen and her babies for a chance to win 1 of 3 prizes.
