Sadly, after this batch my bator is going into storage...... I can't hatch any more until I get my flock's health issues under control or I'd be all over them. :/


I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself... I won't have to plan my life around turning eggs!!

After all these broodies, I have 2 Brinsea's loaded right now, then I'm done for the season too !! Whatsoever will we do??

BYC must be one big family- I see a lot of people with enabler as their middle name!

Oh yeah... Broodies. Hmm. I forgot about those. Broodies are my weak spot -okay, one of many- because they are so dedicated.
My OEGB go broody at the drop of a hat.... Jace has gone broody TWICE, and she is 15 months old. I didn't let her hatch the 2nd time, that was crazy!

Sooo...... I'll just mostly plan on being done.

Wow! How did you get a LF orp to go broody? I've had black & lav orps for about 4 years. Only my bantam orp goes broody..... but she does it about 5xs per year, so I can't say we need more broodies.
