Broodies for Christmas - An incubation (/chat) thread!

I'm following along! I hope your duck eggies all hatch! I love the pics of the broody silkies. They're so cute how you can move them and they just take to their new surroundings in the same nest box with the same grumpy faces :lau

I wasn't going to get any chicks this year but I'm thinking I really need some silkies and some turkens :love I have one hen who goes broody so I will let her sit this spring if she does. She's a black copper maran. Her eggs will all be mixed. I've got one roo who is a banty mix and the hens are each a different type (cuckoo maran, BCM, SS, sapphire gem, golden comet, SL wyandotte, cream legbar, and welsummer). I love to hatch mixes, it always fascinates me how they turn out! I haven't had chicks since 2013 :eek:
