Awww!!
The one on the left looks like she could. I hope they do.
I'm in New Zealand so there isn't a huge variety of chicken breed choices but I'm honestly at a loss with most of them haha.Ok. I was asking because of her face color. I was wondering if she had some black-skinned breed in her.
I love your chickens' names, by the way.
New Zealand? I was wondering if you lived in another country. How cool!I'm in New Zealand so there isn't a huge variety of chicken breed choices but I'm honestly at a loss with most of them haha.
Thank you! If you like those names... Our entire current flock includes 9 hens:
Hobgoblin, Moomin, Hugin, Sir Princess Pancetta Poncho, Friendly Chicken Willow the 1st, Ata, Hopī, Powidl and Brezel
Yup! So Ata is shadow 'of a human' in Te Reo Māori and Hopī is 'to be scared' (both will eat out of our hands and follow us but Ata is still the braver one).New Zealand? I was wondering if you lived in another country. How cool!
Awesome names! I love them all! I could see having a chicken named Friendly Chicken Willow the 1st. I've had quite a few chickens who were 1sts, though they were never referred to as the 1st until after there was a 2nd.
Wow, cool. It's funny that the two whose names mean 'to be scared' eats out of your hands. That's pretty brave for a lot of chickens. You must have spent a lot of time with them.Yup! Brezel is named after a German pretzel and Powidl is an Austrian plum preserve
Yep, no 2nd willow yet it just flowed well. My niece called her friendly chicken, willow and the 1st came later once we inherited the chickens
Aww, the ducking is cute!My first entry, Mamma muscovie and her bubba (6-15 hrs old.)

I love the history behind each of your chickens' names. With my chickens, some of them have stories behind their names, whereas for most of them, the name just fit or something like that.
