Awesome! I bet that baby is going to be gorgeous when it grows up. Yeah, I'm familiar with that. That's where I came up with the "Cuteness Theory." The cutest chick in the hatch is a cockerel.

Yep! And the baby is a Lavender Buff mix! Sadly, all the really pretty ones end up being roosters.

Only keep the very best for breeding. The rest get culled (from the breeding program)

Awwww, that brings back memories. I used to breed zebra finches years ago. Even had to handfeed some!

These birds are not just a hobby to me and they have become a part of my life. I love every time they have babies and my small colony has had so many I'm selling them now. I've made 145€ in the past two months from selling some rare types and the normal wild types.
