here are some of their goslings I hatched artificially earlier this year. This larger one is pretty much feathered out. I’d say the African genes are stronger. But there’s a tad bit more heft to the frame maybe. They’re a goofy bunch View attachment 3542654View attachment 3542652

Absolutely beautiful! I was wondering what that cross would look like! I will have the same cross next spring... but opposite. My gander is African and my goose is toulouse.

This is Joy my Muscovy who just hatched the little Runners laying on her feet and looks like she’s wearing slippers.

Chest and her 6 little ones enjoying their first bath
Was funny watching her tell them it’s time to get out
First she head nods with a certain quack. Then one by one she nudged them in the butt with her beak
Along with more head nods and quacks
They each listened and got out
Then she brought them back into the coop
So far 5 days old and mom is doing great
