i think my 7 month old rir goldie is going broody!i cant have this and i know the eggs arent fertile because we have no roo. also at the moment she has no eggs under her and she hasnt layed today.shes even getting that blank stare in her eyes!and she cant be broody because weve only got one nest box!

Can you make another nest box? Get her some fertile eggs. IF you don't want chicks Constantly remove her from the nest. She'll be ticked but eventually get off the nest for good.

never mind!she layed her egg and left!i guess she gets the broody look when shes waiting
