I don’t know if my chicken is sick or going broody. She just wants to be on her nest I notice that she’s not pooping on her nest either. I sometimes grab her and put her out and she does start walking pooping normal she eats grapes or other fruits I give her. But her food or water she doesn’t eat a lot. Today in the morning I did see her eat and drink when I got her out of her nest but that’s it. If I give her something else to eat she’ll take a bite. When she’s in her best and sees me getting closer she fluffs up her feathers and makes a sound too. She’s been like this since Monday.

She'll eat once or twice a day during this time, same with pooping. You'll want to cool her off and break her if you don't want her to be broody as its hard on her.

Should I give her baths with cold water everyday? It’s warm where I live at right now and next week it’s going to be around 90 degrees all week

I'm not sure about the baths, that's usually a last ditch effort. Do you have someplace cool she can go or some ice packs to put under her?

She isnt sick, just broody. She isnt pooping on her nest because she doesnt want to contaminate her eggs.
