Broody did the job even in the extreme cold

Hi Frosty - I have a heated shop they are in. Normally by the time they are 8 to 10 weeks old, they will have enough feathers to go outside. I have about 60 ducklings inside right now. Some are ready to go out, but I am waiting for a break in the weather. The outside pens do have sheds attached but they are not insulated. All the ducks do go in the sheds at night and lately most of the daytime as well. Too darn cold even for them!

They are in about 10 different cages and range in age from a couple days to 6 weeks. Maybe tomorrow, I will bring the camera out and take a few pictures. I counted them tonight, I have 69 ducklings out there. I have some calls, pekins, magpies, cayugas, penciled runners, magpieXcayugas, and a couple muscovyXpekins
