Hi I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice. I have a khaki Campbell (just over a two years old) who injured her leg, it wasn’t broke so I placed her on bed rest so she could let the leg heal and prevent further damage. While on bed rest she became broody and has been sitting on 3 eggs for a week now (she did have 4 but she cracked one). I thought letting her sit on the eggs was a good idea as she was resting her leg however I don’t really have the room for anymore ducks. Would I be able to take the eggs away from her now and destroy the nest? I have no idea if they’re fertilised but we do have a drake who is a pekin. Or would the kindest decision be to let her hatch them? Thank you to anyone who has some advice

i just thaught of something mabye iam overthinking

At what age does an egg become a sentient being?

ide feel bad throwing a 25 day old egg out its basicaly and duckling at that point

It is awful. It was from my dead drake. The incubator went rouge in the night and killed it I think . I am putting ice in the incubator every few hours but I fear its too late.

i litteraly thaught you boiled an egg and opened it and realized.

like it was under a hen and you didnt notice and took it for breakfast

in many ways iam not a smart man :gig
