Broody eating hatching chicks?

Ok so this is day three I put her to the food and she ate and ran around crazy and now she’s back , so do I do that once a day until the 18 th day? Then don’t touch her???

Looks like you posted to the wrong thread but I was reading your posts yesterday... Yes that's what I have done... I have had better luck putting food and water close to my broodies, otherwise they started eating eggs last year. I give them extra protein (sunflower seeds) while they're broody also.
Then I just check them daily. If there's new poop outside their nest, I know they've gotten up that day and just leave them.
