Is it normal for her to be making a mess out of the coop. She’s not going to the run and leaving the babies so I’m assuming she’s trying to dig in there but she’s like almost swatting the babies. I have her worms which she got excited about hoping it will calm her down.

It really appears rough as chicks go flying. You can imagine the possibility for problems in a limited space like a crate - looks like she/they have plenty of room. They generally settle down in a couple of days.
