broody hen - again

How often do hens go broody? Wilma weaned her chick two weeks ago. She has laid eight eggs and has gone broody again. She's not as vicious as last time but she's only been setting four days.

i have never a broody doing that. mine are good setters but not that good

I have a banty that is doing this as well. Sometimes you just get "lucky" I guess.

my hen is a good setter but she didnt set that soon her chicks are 7 weeks going on 8 weeks and she went broody again 7 days ago but she is a silkie and silkies love sitting..LOL My aunts hens wont go broody at all i guess somtimes you just get lucky with some hens!
