Broody hen help?!

i'm First, candle those eggs she sat on for three days, they may not be fit to eat. Or at least break them into a bowl before putting them in a skillet or cake mix!

I'm asking out of ignorant bliss, does candling show if eggs are bad or not? The poster did mention there was no rooster in the flock, so does candling show more than a developing chick? I'm not sure if the edited the post or not to include the rooster part. It'd be helpful, as I do bake cake sheets and sometimes I skip the one by one egg in a separate bowl check!

I must have missed the part about there being no rooster, sorry, my bad. Yeah, that was my concern, that after three days they might start developing veins. But of course that wouldn't happen with no rooster. Still, three days in high heat ... I'd still probably break into a bowl just to be sure they weren't starting to break down in any way. But that's just me.
