Broody Hen Killed Chicks

Don't let her sit and hatch again. Apart from this I would let her be.
This was more along the lines of what I was thinking. I would hate to isolate her if I don’t have to. Have you ever done this before? How long does it take for them to give up and move on?

You don't have to isolate her. You just have to put her in a wire crate for 3 days and three nights. She should be with the flock during this time. You need to reset her hormones so that she isn't just sitting in a nest wasting away for nothing.

Don't let her have any more babies.
My hen Lobo hatched a baby today and I heard frantic chirping.
I rushed outside and the baby had a peck wound on the side of her head, poor baby.
She's in the incubator now and drying off. She's looking better and calming down, but some hens don't make good broodies.

I don't isolate chickens unless it's absolutely necessary. that includes broody hens. Most will give up in their own time.
Myth, the most recent chick killer I've known was otherwise a normal hen but she went broody 3 or 4 times a year. I would let her sit for a few days to make shure her egg laying cycle had switched off then confiscate the eggs on say day three and empty the nest of bedding. Myth would sit for another day or so and then rejoin her tribe until the next time.
