Broody Hen that I want to hatch

SHE'S OK!!! SHE'S OK!!!! Julia is alive!!!!

She must have took off running from the opossum & left him with only a mouth full of feathers to chew on! I wondered why, if he had a whole chicken, why was he coming back to the nest so quickly.

The eggs are still safe inside the incubator, where I guess I'll leave them since she was so disturbed. My husband found her in the yard this morning catching grasshoppers.

I'm so happy!!!
