Blue!!! Jealous! Major jealous! Currently have blue/black/splash in the incubator (shipped eggs) and I'm soo hoping for a lot of blues. Something about that color is just wow!

hokankai - Thanks for the info - that makes sense. I will have to attempt that with my next Guinea nest locating adventure which should be occurring fairly soon by the looks of my paired-up guineas.
My BO will surely still be broody as she's been broody going on like forEVER now.

I put a two week old refrigerated egg under my broody as a test egg and to help keep her broody till my shipped eggs arrive this coming week. It should have been a dud but its developing!! I don't remember the day I stuck it under her so I am going to risk it in the bator with the 20+ eggs I will be setting tomorrow. We shall see how it hatches.

Ir was in the fridge for two weeks. So far it has been under the hen for about 1 week. I figured it was old enough it wouldn't develope. LOL oh well. It will just have to be a single chick for a few weeks. I did pull 3 eggs out of the fridge that had been in for a couple days to add to my hatch. I have hatched eggs I pulled out of the fridge before so I figured I would add to it by doing that again.
I will get some new pics up of my broody with the babies today or tomorrow. I kidnapped three pullets and sold them yesterday and added two turkey poults to her brood.
