this is there daddy. He is so sweet I can hold him and he lays his head on my shoulder. The reason I used the EE eggs blue/ green is because I can also hold those hens. They have great temperaments !!! I'm not breeding for full blood breeds just pets. Like LofMc and others suggested to make my flock the way I want. So I found a home for 3 hens and one bantam Roo. In hopes I would get a few with a good tempermant .

So they are all mutts now

If anyone can tell what breeds may be in my rooster I would love to hear he's God's black dog it's all over his chest

I got home with one egg left. She's been moved and is happy. She's not giving up on the last egg. I carefully moved it in the same nest she started throwing it around. Then sat right back down. I don't hear any chirping. Should I give her one more night?

My broody had a heart attack today. Somehow the door to her coop came open. She was running the yard freaking out screaming. Go out and she runs like crazy up to me, I take her back to the coop and a fellow hen has stolen her nest. I get that hen off and she makes it all homey again and plops back down. Poor girl.

Last year, I had chicks to hatch on day 25 so it is still possible. Give her one more night.

@Angie16hearts
90% hatch rate is awesome...hopefully the last egg will hatch. My personal experience is that if it hasn't hatched within 48 hours of the first, then it won't....but definitely wait it out until the hen absolutely gives up on it, which she will do in another day or so.

Congratulations on your cuties...I love my barnyard mixes. They are pretty, sweet, and lay great...who cares if they are a Heinz 57 if they fulfill what you want...that's actually how new breeds start if you keep the flock contained. :p

Poor thing...sounds like she is a very dedicated albeit less dominant hen...all should be well now with her in isolation.
