Just wanted to share some pics of my beautiful rooster and one of his hens.

Well, what did I expect? I have another hen sitting and sleeping in the other nest box. We bought a single nest box and put it it the corner of the coop. I am going to save 4 eggs to put under her. Store them pointy end down, right? Thank you!

Just wanted to make sure you saw my updated candle pics.
Don't know what to tell you about the crack, some have repaired the with wax or nail polish or glue.
I'd remove it.

Wait, what?
Didn't read back all the way, but wasn't even leaving one broody setting a stretch?

I Left crackhead (cracked eggs name if he hatches) under broody and candled him yesterday to see if he is alive. Not exactly sure what happened but pretty sure he is dead. I didn't get pics but I will candle just him tonight and take pics. :fl

Yes, it's fine to feed cooked eggs to chickens.

Any age chicken is fine, any method of cooking the eggs is fine.

But think before adding extra ingredients to the eggs. For example, a bunch of salt would be bad for the chickens.
No extra ingredients, just eggs boiled in water.
