She also took the biggest poop I have ever seen. Even the other chickens looked at it in shock. I swear a few clucked "holy crap" when they saw it

A broody coming off the intense broody hormones will maintain that broody "cluck" for several days after being broken as the hormones continue to diminish. It means nothing as long as she stays away from the nest. She won't show an interest in the nest again for a couple of weeks give or take. When she does, she's ready to resume laying.

I let her put this morning. She didnt go straight for the nesting boxes so good sign. So far shes still in the run scratching around. I'm a little suspicious because shes still making that clicking noise but we will see. Shes nlbeen in the run for a a little over an hr.

It means nothing as long as she stays away from the nest.

Maybe....I've found that sound tells me she's not done yet.

So far shes stayed out of the nesting boxes today. I've been out there working on the coop so I've been keeping an eye on her. I know tonight will be the real test. Hopefully she roost with the others but we will see. I've left the cage in the coop just in case I need to use it tonight.

I'll probably leave it there. It was such a pain setting it up in the dark when I realized she was sitting in the box.

Well she spent all day running around the run scratching, eating, laying around. Caught her sitting in the nest box as they piled in for bed back to the crate she went.
