Broody left rest of her eggs and they are peeping!

Since it was a late hatcher I would put food and water in with it.
I would keep a close watch on the temp in the area it is so it doesn't get to chilled or overheat.
It’s 95-100 down in my basement with heat lamp and wood stove. I keep adjusting the light so it’s more at 95 but they seem happy and comfortable

What an exciting thread. Congrats!!!!
Thank you! I was totally winging it because i didn’t expect my hen to not finish her job! Lol next time I will be prepared but I ended up saving 3 of the 5 eggs she abandoned. I honestly don’t think the other 2 were good because anytime I candled I didn’t see any sort of movement, the other 3 were pretty clear

One of this chicks still isn’t walking around like the other 2. It just flutters it’s wings and wobbles, but mostly lays there. I put some save a chick in their water today but not sure if I should let the poor think down. Any ideas? I wish I could post videos on here to show

Do you have video? Upload to youtube then provide us a link.

Are the legs splayed or spraddled? Look at the photos in this article - anything like that?

Your hen thought her job was finished. When a broody hatches eggs on her terms, all of the eggs start incubating at the same time. Generally all hatch roughly within 24 hours of each other. A good mama will then take them off the nest, teach them how to eat and drink, etc. She had no idea you messed with her schedule. Glad you got some
more to hatch.

I was being a bit sarcastic, but yes I understand that

Poultry Cell is very good to give a couple of drops daily. Riboflavin and other B vitamins might help, but there can be splay leg or other leg problems (slipped tendon, leg bone deformity) with a difficult hatch. Your SaveAChick vitamins with electrolytes can be enough if you get enough into it. With any leg problems, the earlier they are discovered and treated, the better. You have had pretty good luck though given the circumstances.
