Keep us posted!I saved 3 of the 6 abandoned leftover eggs from their nest early last week and plopped them in the incubator. All three are alive, two have internally pipped and the third is shadowing! So excited to maybe have a few more!

Gave one an air hole last night, and gave a second egg an air hole this afternoon. One of the eggs that didn't hatch under the mallards pipped internally but no external pip so now I'm a little paranoid. I got tired of finding dead fully formed ducklings inside eggs.Keep us posted!

So fingers crossed these guys do great because I'm in need of duckling cuteness this week.

SO CLOSE!!!After about 48 hours for one of them with no external pip progress I gave them some help and avoided the veins. They are happily breathing and chirping and I’m relieved they are still alive. For whatever reason I’ve had a few recently that just never crack the shell after an internal pip and I don’t need anymore dead ducklings this week. So hoping these guys will hatch in the next 12 hours or so whenever they are done absorbing what they need to absorb.
I can't wait!. Will post photos later when they are dry and fluffy
