They are in a small area of the coop. She was still on the nest most of the last few days, but when I got up this morning she was off the nest and the eggs were cool to the touch so figured it was time to take the eggs away. I grabbed the eggs and candled them and popped the potentially still viable ones in the incubator.

Hopefully, they will hatch. From my experience with broody's mine usually get up with their ducklings after a few days and the ones a little behind pay for it. Good thing you have a bator.

That's what I was expecting so had been checking frequently. They were still on the nest yesterday so I left the eggs there, but maybe I should have taken them. Hopefully these will survive.

I had to toss 3 of the 6 that were abandoned. One looked like it pipped internally but never pipped externally. That sucks. But the 3 I saved seem okay so far.

I have a few of the eggs from their abandoned nest in the incubator, and 2 of them are starting to shadow and look like they want to internally pip soon! I'm so excited and keep checking them constantly LOL.

I saved 3 of the 6 abandoned leftover eggs from their nest early last week and plopped them in the incubator. All three are alive, two have internally pipped and the third is shadowing! So excited to maybe have a few more!
