Im a wreck now and no babys have hatched yet!

Not yet...we've got until the 1st which is Saturday, and I am a nervous wreck with waiting!

Everyone is holding steady, the new broodies and the first pair so it is looking really good....it's just the waiting that's getting to me now. We don't have an incubator, so it's been almost a year since we've had peeps, getting very excited to see what will hatch!

Well to be honest with you, when I hear loud clucking from a sitting hen, I expect to SMELL something VERY, VERY BAD. My hens shoot out a load of POO POO when they cluck loud. Look for a pool of you know what. She is singing a song of RELIEF.

There should not be an egg. Let me know if you find a smelly present.

I didnt find any "garbage" do you think mayby she knows they are gonna hatch soon so shse talking to them?

What do I do with a broody hen that isnt setting on any eggs? Just setting in the nesting box for 3 weeks? I get her out twice a day but she still goes back in and sets!
