Ok- so 'this girl has been everything she isn't supposed to be...
1. A killer layer
2. A super chill/friendly chicken
3. (And worst of all) a CRAZY dedicated- hell or high water- to the death- broody ass hen..... LMAO

My 2 year old Phoenix hen, (who has been one of the best hens ever) has gone kamikaze broody--- My little roadrunner girly- who never had extra weight to lose to begin with- has nearly starved herself to death.... I have removed her from the flock- trying to hand feed.... ( only thing she will take from me is mealworms) any other ideas on how to put weight back on her, **** QUICKLY??******

Poor little thing...

I have witnessed her drinking water- (also have seen remnants of chicken kibble in her waterer) but she still looks so pale/possibly anemic, I worry she will not be able to pull herself back up on her own.....suggestions, ideas?
Thanx in advance, u guys!!!!!!!!!

Chickens love table scraps... Do you have any leftovers lying around that might help her gain weight? Once you break her she should eventually go back to normal but it's a good idea to get her started. I hope she gets better!
