Broody Questions, Yes I have one.

This is the first time I have had a broody, I put 4 eggs under her this week, she has been setting since last weekend. I counted tonight and she has a total of 8, she had 7 for a few days. When do I start counting days? Should I check tomorrow and see if she has 9 and not start counting until she stops laying completely?
If she leaves the nest, my bators are always going so I can stick them in the bator.

Are you sure all the eggs are hers? My mother in law had a broody and her other hens kept going in the nest box and laying more eggs.
