My 10 months old hybrid got a brown comb like in the picture. She lay am egg and roam around normally like my other hen. Also, she lost her feather around the chest are (The part where the pointy bone around the chest is). So I just wondering, is she molting or sick. ;(
Ps. I live in a hot climate (around 25-34 celsius)

The comb looks like it has scabs on it.
Have you had fowl pox in your coop? Is she the bottom of the pecking order?
Some chickens lose coloring in their comb and the comb because smaller during molting but I haven't seen it yet where the comb because brown.

Any way you can get some photos in daylight?

I finally got a picture of her comb and also, her poop. It's a little bit red ;(
Where are you located in the world?
What do you feed?
Have you tried washing off her comb just to make sure it's not dried on mud?
See how much comes off, then apply an anti-fungal cream to the comb.

I would also look inside her ear (yellow circle) to see if there's pus or debris in there.
The pupil of her eye looks a bit out of shape, does the other one look like that too?

Is she eating/drinking and active?

I live in Thailand and I feed them with normal chicken feed for egg layer. And yep she is uper active. Ok I will try clean her comb! Also, about red poop, is it normal for chicken to poop red? She has been pooping like this for weeks.

About the eye, I haven't notice that before! Is it going to be a problem because the outher one eyes doesn't look like that.

What is the red/pinkish color on the ground, is that sand, tiles or dirt?
Sometimes diet can color the poop. I would take note of her poop for a few more days and see how it looks. Think about if she's eaten anything that color.

As for the eye, it may be something genetic if only one eye, just keep watch on that too. Since she's acting normal/eating/drinking active, I think I would just observe her and see how it goes.

Let us know if that crust washes off her comb.
