Anybody know how to tell the difference between a brown leghorn and other similar colored birds?

When they are older, brown Leghorns will have white earlobes, so that's one way. They should also have large, floppy single combs unless you've specifically bought the much rarer rose comb variety of light or dark brown Leghorns. Yellow legs, light build, and large tails are other characteristics.

Other common breeds that are similar in color are Welsumers, which will have red ear lobes, and Easter eggers, which usually have green or blueish legs and pea combs.

Thank you! I have 2 brown leghorn pullets and one exotic island fowl pullet similar in color... I'm not sure what kind yet cuz it seemed like there were 2 different kinds had brown hens... I will have to hope they don't have white earlobes... Lol

A brown leghorn isn't really brown at all - or brown as you'd expect. It resembles a wellsummer.
Yeah, I am aware. I have 2 brown leghorns and an island fowl of unknown breed as yet that has the same color pattern. I'm trying to figure out which is which. Thank you.
