Hi,

Quail are fliers. They need a separate pen as they might killed by chickens. Quails can be flighty and should have there flight wings clipped.

i keep mine in a large 8' foot by 3' foot pen, and its about 3 or so feet high.. they like it.. kinda like a huge rabbit hutch! but i call it the quail hutch.

holy poop.. if i had the room i would.. but i have what i can work with.. i dont think i will have a mass project, just enough to send small amounts of eggs, i want to get a bunch of females tho, cuz my ratio is WAY off, thats why i need to incubate some eggies!
