Brown dots in my eggs

I have recently acquired 2 speckled Sussex hens, They were laying every other day, Now one has started loosing its feathers , The other one is still laying but every egg so far has had a spot in them,Not sure if this is normal... I took the spot out this morning and ate the egg..
It tasted fine but just was wondering what could be wrong...
 
Yes, blood or meat spots. Blood spots are on the yolk. Meat spots are in the albumen (white).
I recently got an egg with both.

Usually it's one or the other like the blood spot on this egg.

It's fairly common, store eggs have these weeded out during candling inspection.
Can happen once in awhile or all the time with some birds.
I don't bother picking them out, but I usually scramble my eggs so plate appeal is not affected.

Blood spots are from a blood vessel breaking when ova is released from follicle.
Meat spots are from a tiny piece of tissue breaking loose from the reproductive tract.
