If you look through Henderson;s Breed Chart it tells you size and color many different breeds are supposed to lay.

Wow, this could be a very long list.! Any of the Marans. Most of the red type sex links. Orpingtons lay a light brown/tan egg. Depends on what shade of brown you are looking for. Probably easier to say which chickens do not lay brown eggs .
