Brown eggs have less cholesterol

Canola oil is something I consider a Frankenfood. Olive oil is fine and very tasty on salads. I also avoid fats high in omega 6 fatty acids. The thing that makes coconut oil so unique is that it is a medium chain fatty acid. Medium chain fatty acids are used quickly by the body and are not stored as fat.

Coconut oil has a lot of health claims, and even though I am a big fan, I am not assert they are ALL true. HOWEVER, there is research emerging about the effect of coconut oil on alzheimer's patients....

Yes, Candidas is chronic yeast infection that gets into your entire body, causes tiredness, weight gain, etc, etc. We purchase dried coconut chips and shredded coconut by the 5 lb. bag, and the coconut oil by the 5 gallon pail. We get the coconut chips from a co-op called Azure Standard. It is online, look up azurestandard.com.
 
Speaking about oils and butter... I make a buttery spread with equal parts of olive oil and butter (the recipe includes one tablespoon of powdered milk but I leave it out). Keep in the frigde and use like soft spread. As I've read the posts on coconut oil I wonder if it could replace the olive oil in this buttery spread?

I once heard a city girl ask "how do you keep a chicken from having babies." This was asked when we lived in Seattle for a few years. I'm embarrased to say that for a second I thought it was a good question. Boy was that a hit your forehead and say duh moment!! I don't think I have to say any more on that subject.
