The only hen to come into contact with the pheonix ever is the splash
Now the pheonix rooster may possibly have easter egger in him but I'm sure my Jersies are very pure. The roos comb is short cuz he got frost bite one year. I no longer have the pheonix
Are you sure the pheonix wasn't bearded? Beards can't come from two clean faced parents.
It sounds to me like you didn't have a phoenix.

His comb just kinda falls over.The hens are easter Eggers. I gave these birds to my mother in law. They were hatched last summer then I gave them to her in the spring
March 31st is the exact day I gave them to her. The eggs I hatched went in the incubator June 4th.
