Brown Jersey Giant chicks?

March 31st is the exact day I gave them to her. The eggs I hatched went in the incubator June 4th.

I go out and gather them every day. And I usually don't go more than ten days between hatches.

Regardless, the muffs prove those aren't from the JG. What color eggs did the hatch from?

something is not adding up here, Pure JG will never produce such eb colored chick down when crossed to any other breed, that is because they are extended black E, so E/eb chicks will look like regular E/E chicks, those chicks straight up look eb/eb

most likely the JG hens are just visiting the nests but dont lay and sitting for a short while on the EEs laid eggs then they get up and those eggs are hatched

I don't have any easter Eggers. The only thing I can think of is that the splash hen was with those 2 pheonix roosters. I separated her ftom them for well over a month. Maybe my JGs have a trace amount of another breed in them. I never had any of these guys hatch last year. The only difference this year is I have a splash hen that I hatched last year and the hens are being bred from a Jg rooster that wasn't the dominant breeder last year but has taken over breeding this year. No easter Eggers on my property. I'm confused too.lol
