I don’t think you should use Janky in case it’s a genetic issue.@AngBantamLuv @I Like Turkeys @Yard farmer @RoostersAreAwesome @Cat Ballou @All4Eggz @Obsessed172 Here is an update! The pullets are getting close to laying. Combs are starting to get red! Once they lay I’ll start breeding! Hopefully they won’t lay until my bator is empty!

Ok, I was thinking the same thingI don’t think you should use Janky in case it’s a genetic issue.
Yes, I’m going for the brown red leakage on the necks. I want the hens to look different than regular mottled D’Uccles.Sure. I think type-wise, you have a bit to go, but she looks to at least carry mottling, and has the red neck. Were you going for a red neck?
Also, your male looks very nice!
I probably could try that!I can't believe it's already time for them to start laying! Seems like i was just guessing m/f!!
Can you do a batch of Jankys eggs in the next round? Separate from Big Foot's? Then you can see if there are any offspring with the same issue, without having to track which chicks go to which eggs.
How exciting!!
How exciting!! Might be the spring sun too.. i have 5 laying right now, just 2 holdouts after their winter break. Some of the little pullets have started to lay! Won’t start breeding until all of them are laying.
