Brown spot on mallard egg

Open the bator... they're not externally pipped, right? They won't shrinkwrap, even if they were it takes more than opening the bator for a few minutes to affect the eggs... remove some water, wipe down inside of bator with dry paper towel if it has condensation... with duck eggs, I never let mine go higher than 70%, at 75% or more, I found issues with edema (water retention) in the ducklings...

Just open it carefully, but quickly and do what you need to.... :)

I know that this is nerve wracking but you're doing great.
But it will be rewarding if I can have just one duckling out of five, I would be so excited!!
The momma Duck has tried soooo many times to have those ducklings survive, she did have about 12 last year but they disappeared... that poor momma Duck called half the day for them, it got to the point she was making me cry so hard....

Something to laugh about!!! I have an egg that's been rocking so much it has gotten very close to another egg.. funny looking but should I maybe move it away...a little worried that Rockie might crack the other egg...
