Crazy people in the south think it's gold falling from the sky and can't get why I'm not thrilled.

no snow here. yaaaaaaaaaaaay. they've been predictin but it never comes.

i am resigned to knocking ice out of buckets in the morning but having them freeze back over during the day is not fair. they say supposed to get warmer this weekend. it better or i'm gonna have that weather man over here checking the buckets at four pm to see how icy they are and the sun's not even down.

I have a space heater that was about 2 feet from the water and this morning I went out and it was solid as a brick(the water)!!!!

Me too. Having lived in New Orleans area since I was a kid, we don't see "real"snow. Just moved last month to 45 miles outside Baton Rouge and woke this morning to beautiful snow and white blanketed grounds.

I waited till it had stopped snowing and most had melted before letting the girls out. At first they tried to eat it but then ran around in it like it was nothing.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR It was -14 here this morning. Luckily the wind wasn't blowing. We got 7" of snow on Wednesday and the same or more is predicted for tomorrow. How many more days till summer??????

I'm with you Cynthia. I could be perfectly happy never seeing snow again the rest of my life. Blecckk! It's cold and wet and messy - yuck. If it would snow, look pretty for a few hours and then just magically disappear, it would be alright I guess, but otherwise, no thanks.

WE HAVE SNOW!!!!!!! Not sticking when it hits the ground, melting with the rainy mix it's in but purdy comin down, lol!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Fingers crossed for two feet of it sticking to the ground!!! Might get touse those snow disc thingys after all

Still Brrrrrrr cold here. It hasn't warmed up much since this morn. I'm at the Girl Scout event and they have wireless internet service. Lucy me!

Hope the chickens haven't turned to popcycles, ha! They just love it outside. I don't think they would go in the coop if they were to cold, b/c they love it so much.

Well, as of 2 minutes ago I had my daughter check out the thermometer, and it said 16, and is very cold. I know lastnight we were under a wind chill advisory through Sunday. I know it was -3 this am, actually colder than that this morning.
I would actually like to get some snow if it's going to be this dang cold. Thank God for fire places to keep us all warm and cozy inside.
