Brugse Vechter aka Bruges Fighter Thread

This one has female partridge patterning
Some partridge pattern but not color..Possibly with blue wheaten gene that would allow for so much red leakage on the shoulders. A partridge pullet on the left in this picture.

How much do the Bruges Fighter roosters crow? Are they very noisy?
My experience is that they are pretty quiet, low volume and we do laugh at the crowing which sounds like coo-karoo. My death layer roo on the other hand is loud, obnoxiously noisy and I don't know how much longer I will keep him around (just for breeding purposes)

Thanks for that. I hope that I can keep him because I have close neighbors and he needs to be quiet. Maybe this is the rooster of the future for the burbs.
