Crystal looked up from grazing. The more time she spent with Moon, the more she realized she missed her brother, Shard. He'd been more attentive, and she'd like that, even though they were related. If Moon wasn't with Flicka, he was with this stranger. Crystal turned and walked away, determined to find a lone stallion so she would be favorite.
