No, but you'll find many members prefer to buy stock from NPIP certified breeders.

I can't figure out how to close a thread in the Free to a Good Home section? I see no "close" option on the main listing page, if I go to the peach colored bar of my listing. Can't figure out any ways to close within my posting if I try editing. What am I doing wrong???

There isn't a "close" option on that forum. You can post that the bird is gone if you wish, or you can just let it fall away toward the bottom of the list.

Thanks for confirming- thought I was blind!! I'm getting a message saying I have an open listing when I try to create a new thread under Chickens 8 weeks & older. The only thread I created there is Closed- I just checked. What do I need to do?

Got to give it time. The computer doesn't "click in" your posts immediately. It cycles them a few times a day, when the routine calls for it. Soon, very soon.

I don't see anything on BYC's end that should prevent you. Can you tell us what happens when you try to post an ad? Can you click on "Create a new classified" and get a template for creating the ad?

Well I know when I click where is says 'post a thread' on the BST it pops up saying I can't.
