Bubble eye's pond

Sheesh, it never ends! How are you surviving the cold?
Doing ok with the cold, it's around 10F...going to be -0 over the weekend - can't wait!. Well, Barney (new cat) will be set up in the barn tomorrow. I'll fix him up a house, litter pan etc. he was very hungry. He is such a lap cat, someone loved him..
Can't believe you are gardening in January, wish I could get out there..

Our weatherguessers blew it big time. It's warmer and raining, no freezing temps and no sleet or snow as they predicted. I covered the plants with old sheets and blankets and now they are soaking wet. I've never seen such incompetence in my life as our weatherguessers.
You'd think that with all the fancy electronic equipment they have at their disposal, that they'd get the forecast right for once. Idiots.

I'm hoping they have our weather wrong for the weekend - supposed to be 0F at the warmest:th

I can't believe the author Sue Grafton died. She never finished Z. It was a long alphabet and a lot of good reading. RIP.

Really! I loved her books, I like Michael Crighton too, and Frank Herbert, and Patricia Cornwall....the list goes on! All well here in N AL, cold as all get out! Girls are staying in their coop mostly, but I was watching hubby bring them some warm water and Wilbur was sitting on top of the water and wouldn't move, Queen of the water container! Soo funny. Then Larry, flew up to his shoulder and tried to get a nip of the water he was holding...Quite entertaining to watch while I was walking on the treadmill. :wee

Our weather man has been getting it right for awhile now. No Flurries for us, but south of us got some. Supposed to be heading back into the 40's tomorrow. Am really hoping it does, my heater is sounding really bad....making groaning noises is so stressed.

Well Rusty, you just don't have Dennis, LOL They did get some flurries in Tallahassee.
Boskelli- it's partially your fault for living in the Finger Lakes, LOL :plbb

Welcome Chickenpatti!
Wilbur's mom, at least you have entertainment on the treadmill. I look outside last night, the 10 weekers are about 100 feet away but I can see their white heads because of the heat lamp above them. Of course at 2am they are partying out there and running around. Half their pen is covered from the rain, but hubs said they were all wet this morning! So much for warmth!
Hey the smilies are pretty good here!

My goats are fat and wooly.
I cant upload pics here grrrr. Maybe if i switch to tapatalk
