I saw the snow on the news in Tally.
Hmmm, we might have a problem. Seems like our heater is blowing cold air. Compressor might be iced up. I shut the a/c off and I'll check the compressor outside.
Alright,I found you all!!!I'm kinda confused on here,it's so big. This is cool, though, the true patriots of CF here together.I just got done cleaning the main coop,at 20 degrees it's the warmest day until early next week. The chickens actually came out to the front today, first time in almost a week. The geese splash water everywhere and it's freezing around the bucket, turning that area into an ice skating rink.I have to move it to a new spot everyday or they'll break their necks. In their pen the water drains under their shelter, hopefully keeping rodents from moving in.They are the clumsiest things I've ever seen. They don't watch where they're going and trip on stuff and each other, all of the time.Sometimes it's like watching the ten stooges out there.(I like the smiley faces on here.)
Well you all know the familial tug of war (Please don't move) I'm having. My parents sent my daughter a letter (!!!) about if the 3 great grandkids don't thank them for their xmas money, there won't be any more. My daughter's upset because not once have they visited her in san Antonio even tho they fly over it several times a year on their way to Vegas. So they really don't have any relationship between my daughter's kids and my parents. (We'll send them money but we don't want to be involved personally).
I think I'll be able to shampoo heads after the weekend with the temp near 70 again. I have a lot of dirty heads , Vaseline and dirt are not attractive.
I wish it were 70 here lol. I'm going to talk to the wife about getting a new a/c system. This house was built around 1996 and is the original a/c unit. I think it's inefficient, constantly runs in the summer and winter. We've had several issues with it recently and I cant see spending more money in service calls and repairs.
