Hey Everyone,

I haven't been posting in a while because lately my four lovely ladies have been fine and dandy. However for the past week or so I have noticed that one of my hens has been coughing. at first it was just every five minuted but now its almost constantly. A few days ago another one of my hens started coughing and I have recently noticed that she has small bubbles forming in the corner of her eyes. The other girls appear as happy as can be and look very healthy. Egg laying has been normal (except for one hen that appears fine who had either stopped laying or made a hidden nest for the last couple of weeks. Until today when she visited and proudly deposited a fine looking dashing little egg, smack in the center of the nesting box :) ) I did start them on a new food but continued using the same brand. so far I have given them electrolytes and some yogurt but haven't done any medicating. Home remedies would be awesome seeing as I have no money to spend on expensive medications being that i am a child.
Thank you so much for listening and any help if greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the reply.
I really hope for my girls sakes (and mine really!) that its not coryza. I heard that its deadly, but I'll go and do some research on it before I make decisions. Thanks again and I'll post any new symptoms that they may start showing. :)

Has anyone ever had MG in their own flock? if so can it be treated? and is it deadly? I'll do some research on it but I'm having a little bit of difficulty understanding all the medical terms....
thank you dawg53 and FlyHigher.
